Can you remove the odor from my rug?

We can remove all kinds of odors from your area rugs! Most rugs we see for cleaning have pet urine odors, “wet dog” smells, cooking odors, smoke odors, or musty odors. Because we are able to reach the odor problem at the source – the foundation yarns – we are able to have great odor removal success.

Because tufted rugs (rugs with a cloth backing) are constructed to be replaced, we are unable to guarantee odor removal. They just don’t hold up to the kind of cleaning required to thoroughly treat pet urine odors. Similarly, if an area rug has such extreme pet urine damage that it has caused breakage or rotted foundation fibers, we may decline to treat the rug altogether.
